CDL Class A Driver
Seeking a full-time professional driver for Lewis C. Howard Inc. warehousing and distribution services, a family owned and operated organization with over 60 years in the industry. The position will be 40+ hours per week. Start time is between 3:00AM-7:00AM. All freight is no touch and does not require any driver assist for loading or unloading. This is a home every night position, meaning nobody will be required to stay out overnight.
Requirements:
-2 years minimum driving experience
-Valid CDL-A Drivers license
-Valid medical card (Lewis C. Howard will provide the service to get the medical car at on our our DOT approved physicians)
Responsibilities include:
-Pre and Post trip inspections to ensure the equipment is safe to operate
-Using electronic logging devices to follow FMCSA compliance
-Must be able to communicate well with others
-Filling out mileage reports, general bill of ladings and maintaining fuel slips
-Maintain a clean and neat environment in their truck
